Common questions.

How often should I mow my lawn in Evansville?

Most Evansville lawns do best with a cut every 7 to 14 days during peak growth in spring and fall. In summer heat, cool-season grass such as Kentucky bluegrass and tall fescue slows down, so every 10 to 14 days is common. We recommend a schedule when we quote your yard.

How short should my lawn be cut in summer?

Tall fescue does best at about 3.5 to 4 inches in summer, and Kentucky bluegrass at about 3.5 inches. Cutting shorter in July and August stresses the grass and invites weeds and burn-out. We set our mowers for your grass type.

When does mowing season start and end in Evansville?

Usually late March through early November, once grass is growing and soil warms to about 50 to 55 degrees. Cool-season lawns can keep growing into late November. We start your schedule when growth starts.

Do I need to be home?

No. If we can reach the lawn, we can mow it.

Do you mow commercial properties?

Ask about offices, storefronts and multi-unit properties. We quote by site.
